AI-Assisted App Development

Your app idea, ready for its first real users.

We use AI development tools to turn a useful idea into a working web app, led by a product manager and reviewed by experts. For founders and businesses building a new product, we help define the first release, design the experience and work through the detail that makes it usable.

Start with the part people will use

A good first release gives someone a useful job to do. Book a service. Try a paid feature. Create something they can save and come back to. We help you decide which experience belongs in the first version and where the next round of development can wait.

A first version of your product

Turn a product concept into an MVP: a focused release that people can try, with enough functionality to learn from how they use it.

A working prototype

Make an idea tangible before committing to a larger build. Explore the main screens and user journey, then use what you learn to refine the scope.

A purpose-built web app

Build around a specific task, such as a booking flow, a quoting tool or a specialist calculator. Give users a clear route from starting the task to finishing it.

The next stage of an existing app

Have an app project underway? We can review what is there, identify the gaps and work out what needs attention before the next release.

AI-assisted development with the details worked through

AI development tools give us practical ways to build and refine web applications, led by a product manager and reviewed by experts. You can respond to a working screen, see how a feature behaves and help shape the product as it takes form.

The decisions around that build still matter. Who can see each record? What happens when a payment fails? Can someone finish the task on their phone? We bring those questions into the work early.

Depending on your app, the scope can include:

  • A defined first release and a clear user journey
  • Interface design for desktop and mobile browsers
  • User accounts, permissions and the data your app needs
  • Payments or connections to other services, where required
  • Testing of the agreed user journeys, plus release and handover planning

We agree the features and responsibilities before development starts. Hosting, external services and ongoing support are considered as part of that scope.

Sidekik: a business profile customers can talk to

Sidekik combines a shareable public profile with AI chat and browser-based voice. Businesses can maintain their assistant’s information and review enquiries through a dashboard.

How we take an app from idea to release

01 Define the first useful version

We start with the people who will use the app and the task they need to complete. Together, we identify the essential features and the questions the first release needs to answer.

02 Build something you can try

We develop the core journey and review it with you. Seeing the app in use helps reveal missing steps and makes feedback more specific.

03 Test the whole journey

We work through the agreed flows, including permissions and error states. A successful demo is one part of the picture; the app also needs to handle an incomplete form or an unavailable service.

04 Prepare for release and what follows

We confirm the release scope, account access and handover needs. Future features and maintenance can then be planned around how the product is being used.

Questions before you start

Is this a mobile app development service?
This service focuses on web apps that people use in a browser, including on their phones. If an App Store release or a device-specific feature is essential, tell us at the start so we can assess the additional work and the right approach.
Does my app need to have AI features?
No. AI-assisted development describes how we help build the software. Your app might be a booking tool, a paid product or another useful service. Features such as AI chat can be considered where they support what users need to do.
Can I keep the code and move hosting later?
Lovable supports exporting code and using it outside the platform, subject to third-party licences. Moving a working app also means planning for its database, sign-in and connected services. We agree project access, ownership terms and handover arrangements in your scope.
Can you help with an app I have already started?
Send us a description of the project and what is holding it up. We can assess the current build and recommend a next step. The approach depends on the existing code, services and access available.
What will it cost, and how long will it take?
That depends on what the first release needs to do, the systems it connects to and the state of any existing build. Share your idea and any budget or timing constraints. We can then work towards a defined scope, including the services the app will need to run.

What should your app help someone do?

Tell us who it is for, the problem it solves and what you have so far. An outline is enough to start the conversation.
